Associate of Customer Services (US Office)

We are seeking outstanding entry-level candidates across a wide range of backgrounds to help us develop and execute innovative travel, educational and corporate event programs.

Associates work closely with team members in our Beijing office to design and execute travel programs for clients. Associates have the opportunity to travel on some WildChina trips to better understand WildChina's products. The position is based in Bethesda, MD.

Key responsibilities

  • Conduct primary and secondary research for WildChina itineraries
  • Design custom travel packages based on client requirements
  • Project management and program logistics
  • Assist with other office sales and marketing activities

Requirements

  • Undergraduate degree
  • Passionate about China culture and/or China geography
  • Traveled extensively in China
  • Excellent spoken and written English writing skills
  • Basic Chinese
  • Good command of computer skills (Microsoft Office skills)
  • Strong interpersonal skills; ability to work in a cross-cultural environment
  • Hardworking, responsible, proactive, customer oriented and well organized
  • Track record of leadership in school activities or previous internships / positions
  • Prior US tour operator or agency experience preferred

Associate – Travel Services (DC Office)

We are seeking outstanding entry-level candidates across a wide range of backgrounds to help us spread the word about WildChina, a different way to experience China.

Associates work closely with team members in our Beijing office to design and execute sales and marketing campaigns on various travel products. For example, one of our latest product is the Ancient Tea and Horse Caravan Road. You will be responsible in designing the marketing collateral for this product, and execute the strategy to prepare the product for market. The position is based in Bethesda, MD.

Key responsibilities

  • Assist in polish and position various travel products
  • Participate in corporate branding
  • Participate in executing sales strategy
  • Proactively contact writers/blogger/travel agents to tell them about WildChina’s new and exciting travel products
  • Follow through on contacts to build partnerships, run press trips, etc.

Requirements

  • Undergraduate degree in marketing or corporate communications
  • Passionate about China culture and/or China geography
  • Traveled extensively in China
  • Prior internship or work experience in PR firms or in marketing positiosn
  • Excellent spoken and written English writing skills
  • Basic Chinese
  • Good command of computer skills (Microsoft Office skills)
  • Strong interpersonal skills; ability to work in a cross-cultural environment

Associate (Beijing office)

We are seeking outstanding entry-level candidates across a wide range of backgrounds to help us develop and execute innovative travel and corporate event programs.

Associates work closely in teams to design and execute travel programs for WildChina. Associates have the opportunity to travel on WildChina trips to better understand WildChina's products. In some cases, associates may be called upon to lead trips. The position is based in Beijing.

Key responsibilities

  • Conduct primary and secondary research for WildChina itineraries
  • Design custom travel packages based on client requirements
  • Project management and program logistics
  • Travel on WildChina programs and assist in program execution

Requirements

  • Undergraduate degree from a top-tier university
  • Passionate about China culture and/or China geography
  • Excellent spoken and written English writing skills (Level 6 or above)
  • Good command of computer skills (Microsoft Office skills)
  • Strong interpersonal skills; ability to work in a cross-cultural environment
  • Proactive working style, accountable, customer oriented and well organized
  • Track record of leadership in school activities or previous internships / positions
