Mei Zhang
A native of Yunnan, Mei studied at Harvard Business School and worked for McKinsey & Company before founding WildChina in 2000. Her passion for travel and familiarity with the consulting industry means that she is acutely aware of the needs of the business community. Because of this, the corporate culture inside WildChina is 100% driven by client satisfaction. Mei currently resides in Washington D.C. with her family.

Albert Ng
Having spent over a decade traveling to nearly every province in China, Albert is always ready to share hidden corners of this exotic country. While on sabbatical from McKinsey and Company in 2000, Albert helped found WildChina, creating a lasting impact on the company's coverage. When early travelers were still only visiting China's glamorous east coast, Albert set out to discover new destinations in Xinjiang (along the ancient Silk Road) and western Tibet. These routes later became some of WildChina's signature trips. After receiving an MBA and another stint at McKinsey & Company covering travel, leisure, transportation, and retail, Albert rejoined WildChina as CEO. In his senior role, Albert assists clients in creating distinctive touring programs that expand the traveler's understanding of China. Albert is a native of Hong Kong with a BA from Columbia University and an MBA from INSEAD.

Barbara Henderson
With over two decades of experience in travel, Barbara is attuned to the tastes and needs of international travelers. Barbara has been with WildChina since the company's founding, designing unique cultural and trekking tours to serve family and individual travelers. A long time China resident and a passionate traveler herself, Barbara's knowledge of this beautiful country and its unique destinations allows her to respond to each client's individual needs and craft unforgettable experiences for both first time visitors to China and long-term residents. Prior to joining WildChina, Barbara worked with high-end boutique travel operators in China and South Africa.

David Tan
An avid traveler and serial entrepreneur, David has spent the last 8 years of his career specializing in business development for various multinationals and startup ventures in Asia. After a successful management career with global real estate consultancy Jones Lang LaSalle, which included postings in the United States, Singapore, Hong Kong and Taiwan, David has since gone on to help launch ventures in areas as far ranging as broadband telephony, interactive media and wireless travel content. Prior to joining WildChina, David served as the head of sales for Yes Television, overseeing the regional expansion of their flagship sports channel GOALTV. David's philosophy towards career building is similar to his passion for travel - keep an open mind, constantly push new boundaries and comfort zones, and intrepidly tackle any challenges that stand between you and your destination. David graduated with a BA from Columbia University and in addition to his love for travel also actively takes up tennis, sailing and history.

Nicole Zhang
Nicole Zhang is the team leader of WildChina's corporate services department. Fluent in Chinese and English, she has worked with world renowned companies such as McKinsey & Co. and Goldman Sachs, creating impressive itineraries for as many as 400 employees at a time. Prior to joining WildChina, Nicole graduated from North China Electricity and worked for Chinese Air Service, where she developed her initial exposure to the travel industry. A native of Beijing, Nicole enjoys listening to music, watching movies and keeping active through swimming.

Paul Moreno
With over a decade of experience in adventure sports event management, Paul is looking to bring travelers off the beaten track and shape the future of the travel industry in China. Paul has assisted many corporate and institutional clients in designing meaningful and simulating retreats and touring programs. While not in the office, Paul is involved with designing and surveying new programs in remote areas for our clients. Prior to joining WildChina, Paul was Vice President of Event Management of the China Open ATP/WTA tour at TOM Group Limited. Before joining TOM Group, Paul worked as an Event Manager at IMG, a leading sports marketing company, where he was involved in a wide array of events. His tenure at IMG included being the Director of Logistics for the Mild Seven Outdoor Quest, a highly-rated international adventure race.

Sherry Dou
Having worked in China's travel industry for nearly two decades, Sherry brings a wealth of operations experience to WildChina. Sherry began her career as a national tour guide and outbound tour leader, during which time she traveled to nearly every nook in China. She later moved to Beijing and was responsible for managing the operations department of a major national tour company, handling detailed travel logistics for both domestic and international clients. Looking to shape a responsible and meaningful future for China's travel industry, Sherry joined WildChina in 2005, and assists our clients and client servicing team in handling logistics and bookings.

Veronique d'Antras
Economist and journalist, Veronique is a long time China resident and an experienced off-the-beaten path traveler. With two decades as a PR & Corporate Communications executive at different multinational companies and ministerial institutions in Europe, Veronique is leveraging her experience into China's high-end travel landscape. As an event and travel consultant, Veronique has worked in China with numerous discerning international corporate clients such as Rothschild, Coca Cola, Young Presidents Organization, JP Morgan-Chase, and private clients. Sharing her knowledge and experience of Chinese culture and lifestyle, she designs special tours, leads numerous unique journeys, and brings a soft, elegant touch to WildChina's gala dinners and events. Pioneering new travel projects in the Tibetan highlands, Veronique is the thought leader behind WildChina's nomadic luxury camp in Qinghai province. Veronique is fluent in French and English and is proficient in Dutch, Spanish, and Chinese.

Yam Ki Chan
Yam Ki has lived and traveled extensively not only in China, but also the US and Spain. Yam Ki has serviced many institution and corporate clients including McKinsey & Company, Singapore Telecom, and OpenTV. Yam Ki was the innovator behind the companyˇ¦s team building event, The WildRace, and the firm's knowledge management system. Prior to joining WildChina, Yam Ki worked as an analyst for leading technology investment banking firm Jefferies Broadview. A native of Hong Kong and Chicago, Yam Ki received his bachelorˇ¦s degree from Carleton College. He is fluent in English, Mandarin, and Cantonese Chinese and proficient in Spanish.

Zhao Bei
Having traveled to some of China's most remote regions including overland journeys from Tibet into Sichuan province and camping in the vast Taklamakan Desert, Zhao Bei is no stranger to off-the-beaten path travel. For many years Zhao Bei has been servicing WildChina's discerning individual travelers and institutional travel partners. A native of Beijing, Zhao Bei has an unmatched knack for bringing out the Chinese distinctiveness of each journey. A graduate of the University of International Relations in Beijing, Zhao Bei is well versed in Chinese diplomatic relations, making him an excellent cultural negotiator.
