Education - Cradle of Civilization (Xian)
Catapult students into an out-of-classroom history excursion on this trip to visit 'must-see' relics and promote student-to-local encounters.
About This Trip
From studying the individually distinct faces of the Terracotta Warriors to making traditional dumplings with a local farmer, this ancient adventure immerses students in the history and culture of the Yellow River basin - the birthplace of Chinese civilization. Once a pit stop on the ancient Silk Road, Xi'an still recalls the past with its bustling Muslim Quarter and architecturally syncretic Mosque. Xi'an is an ideal out-of-classroom destination to explore both Islam and Buddhism.
